I have a 03 honda shadow ace .I put on vance & hines cruzer pipes.Do i need to use the stock collar.?

The stock collar is split %26amp; goes next to the stock flange.|||Ah well, did you get another collar in the box with your pipes? If no then you need to use your old collars. You will also need new copper exhaust gaskets if the kit did not come with them.
