VANCE AND HINES EXHAuST?

I have a 2009 Dyna. I'm planning to put the V%26amp;H straight shot slip ons with the original big city thunder monster baffles. will the bike have that loud rumble sound to it. the stock exhaust makes it sound almost like a scooter.|||It will be louder than the stock exhaust, yes. Do not forget, if you are going to do this, to get something like a power commander to fix any problems changing the pipes will cause.|||Yes, you will regain the ol' Harley sound back but don't forget to change the electronic power commander on your EFI - Electric Fuel Injector. Like back in the "old days" when we went to less restricted pipes we had to re-jet the carbs to run a bit richer.

J%26amp;P Cycles sell them and cheaper than HD so you may want to check them out.

When I ordered my 05 Heritage Softail at Christmas of 04 I had them remove the anemic sounding factory pipes and install their Screamin' Eagle slash cut open pipes. Much better sound, but then I removed the baffles and now run str8 pipes.

Yeah, it's loud enuf to break glass when I really twist the wick hard, and the RPM on my lil 88 can climb real fast now with less restriction, but in town (Tucson) with normal throttle it has a very nice deep but commanding rumble and anyone with in ear shot has no problem in knowing... it's a Harley.

All packed up and ready for a 5 state 1800 mile ride. At cruising speeds, 75/85 mph the bike get almost 55 mpg and loves doing a steady 85 mph all day long out here in the desert southwest where we have miles and miles of nothing but.. miles and miles....!

Boy, Talk about the sound of rolling thunder..!
