What is the best exhaust for a Harley Sportster?

I have a 2009 Sportster 883 custom with forward controls, and i'm looking for some good exhaust that sounds good. Preferably Black and Short..:) Any good ideas other than Vance and Hines??What is the best exhaust for a Harley Sportster?
Supertrapp as it is tunable and has been around for a long time. Very well made.
Harley Davidson turning gasoline into noise without the pesky side effect of horsepower.

Why not do the world a favor and not add to the noise. Just ride your low horsepower antique in your gay pirate outfit and don't bother people.

Sorry but you are still gonna get smoked by $4k 250 ninjas no matter how much noise you make. What is the best exhaust for a Harley Sportster?
Thru the years the "equal length" drag pipes have worked well. One better is a "equal length" two into one collector system.

If you go to the little shortie upsweep ($600) pipes, you are guaranteed to lose horsepower. The equal length is there to produce back pressure which is nesessary for the engine to perform properly.

I personally run Supertrapp on my 2000 FXDX, which I have 48 plates stacked at the end. It is a two into one system (tuneable). And they are Stainless pipes which can be polished whenever. (no chrome) I would reccomend them if your budget allows.
The stock ones: Quiet, OEM fit, quality chrome, durable welds, work perfectly without needing to adjust fuel injection, covered by factory warranty. Best of all, a set comes FREE with every Sportster! What is the best exhaust for a Harley Sportster?
Go with a Supertrapp 2into1.The vance%26amp;hines indy competition 2into1 is a really sweet looking pipe and sounds nice.it is alot louder than the Supertrapp.Kerker also makes some decent pipes
look at rush exhaust..just another option. a 2 into 1 will give you the most HP but to still keep a good sound and a better HP increase i would look at a 2-1-2 set up but if you just trying to make noise true duals
Hopefully some quiet pipes. Or at least put them on something fast enough to get the hell away from me so I dont have to hear all that rattling mess.
