Now that harley davidson have gotten rid of screaming eagle mufflers, what can i use for a good sound?

what about vance and hines slip ons are they good for a dyna? Now that harley davidson have gotten rid of screaming eagle mufflers, what can i use for a good sound?
Eats lotsa chili
Yeah, the real motorcycles ride so much faster with less noise. Now that harley davidson have gotten rid of screaming eagle mufflers, what can i use for a good sound?
If it's a 2007, I don't think you can modify the exhaust. There is an o2 sensor, if it's not sending the correct numbers back to the ecm it won't run right. A guy I know knocked holes in the baffles on his '07 and it runs like crap. So I'd recommend doing some research before change pipes, might be a big waste of money.
We saw some Vance%26amp;Hines pipes discolor near the tip

The trick with any exhaust mod is to compensate the fuel/air mix.Now that harley davidson have gotten rid of screaming eagle mufflers, what can i use for a good sound?
My understanding is that H-D is producing a SE2 pro muffler. If you are going aftermarket, Vance %26amp; Haines makes a good unit. Then there is "Rolled Thunder" by Samson, if you are running a bagger. Hooker has some units for the Dyna and Softail models.

Remember that if you are doing a newer H-D with injection system, you'll need to have the chip burned. If you are carburatored, the jet(s) need changing. It's NOT just 'slap on some pipes' any more. Failure to heed the advise WILL cost you in perfomance and after all isn't that what we want? It's no fun being all sight and sound with no go.
They haven't gotten rid of the screamin eagles. I just ordered some for my Sportster.
Just take the mufflers completely off, it won't make much difference from what a harley sounds with mufflers on. How much do you spend on ear plugs a year riding those harley's?
Buy a Ducati.
everyone has those be different. i have python 2 into 1 on my

Harley nice rumble@ performance is great. Yoshi on my gsxr

you really should look at the aftermarket though.the stealers will

rip you off
RINEHART PIPES ARE GREAT%26gt; It is a matter of personal preferance. What ever you like. Its your bike. But remember LOUDER IS BETTER. If they cant see you make sure they hear you.
Yes V%26amp;H pipes are good but you might want to look into Reinhart set ups for a DYNA. They sound great and provide great performance. The only draw back is that they are costly but I've never had a complaint from anyone that we've installed them for. The next step down are the THUNDER HEADER pipes and they kick some serious A###!
