Vance and Hines Header + Yoshi Slip-on?

I have a Yoshimura slip on exhaust on my 1996 Honda CBR f3, and have found a Vance and Hines header and mid pipe. Could I attach my slip on to the vance and hines header to make it a full exhaust, per se. or would I have to find a can to fit the vance and hines midpipe? and If that is the case, would a can from a Vance and Hines slip on work, or would the Vance and hines slip on just attach to the Vance and Hines header without removing the can..

A lot of words, I know.. Any help is much appreciated|||As I recall, V%26amp;H at that time made them dimensionally interchangeable with stock pieces. You should be able to buy the V%26amp;H header/mid and it would work with your Yosh pipe, no problem. Remember, the V%26amp;H pipes and Yosh pipes work with the stock exhaust, or aftermarket pipes, too.

You may need to use some washers, etc. to shim the mounting points on the mid pipe to get the position just right to line up the canister.

You can usually add a canister to the stock header/mid pipe w/o changing carburetion. With a full system, you usually will need to change the needles or at least shim them a little higher to keep your mid-range performance from falling flat. Also, if you hear popping on deceleration, that's another important reason to adjust your carbs. You can buy a K%26amp;N kit for that, or you can also try using the good ole' Radio Shack washer shim on each needle.
