do i need to re jet it after install? bike had it on when i got it idles a bit rough cuts out kinda on highway. just need carbs gone through or rejetted? i guess it has stock airfilter|||1) Check what filter it has. It might not have anything. That is bad.
2) Check for airleaks on the exhaust.
3) Get the bike serviced properly - carb balance is critical
4) Pull the plugs, check the color. White - weak. Black - rich. Brown is right.
Then decide if you need to rejet or drop/lift the needles in the slides.
Google for a guide on jetting.
