What's the purpose of putting Vance Hines exhaust on your bike?

just reading on m50 suzuki's and a lot of people added this to there bikes just tring to see if I ned to add it to mine????|||better sound a few more hp maybe 5 with a power commander. they just don't leave much on the table any more|||Main reason is better performance. Usually better gas mileage comes along w/ the modification also as a

better "breathing" engine is more efficient. If you do the exhaust have the carb jetted and while you're at it go to a more efficient better "breathing" air filter. The reason these mods return such good performance for small $$$ is that the factory is limited by noise regulations, strict pollution laws, cost per unit, and trying to make the bike fit all of it's target audience. This requires them to compromise where you can pick the exhaust/air fiter combo that suits your needs best. Highly reccomend these simple modifications. Good luck.|||besides the stupid Bling thing.

VH eaxust make the bike preform better|||Well, it can increase horsepower, make it sound cooler, stuff like that, if you're into it.|||Vance and Hines pipes usually allow more exhaust to exit engine quicker, giving more horsepower

they sound mean 2|||More power!!!!

There are several companies that make headers for bikes. Try to research and ask friends about the brands they have tried. I find that it is all personal choice. Some friends of mine like the Kerker and supertrap.|||You should, with a better airbox setup and remaping of your bikes computer, get better performance and sound.

You sound like you might have just bought a new Harley. Before you start to buy all this stuff I would highly recommend you attend a few biker rallys. Ask people what types of pipes they have on their bike if you like the sound. Ask them what they think.

Me personally, I put Screaming Eagle mufflers on my bagger, left the original headers, the Screaming Eagle airbox and a Power Commander. I have 2 baggers. The other has Rinehart exhaust, Screaming Eagle airbox and Dynojet thunderslide kit.

While the second bike sounds better, it cannot even come close to the performance the 1st bike has.

V%26amp;H are a reputible company and make good exhausts.

Also check out the V twin forums and ask questions before you buy.
