Vance hines Big shots quiet baffle installation question?

Do i have to remove the pipes form the bike to remove the heat shield so i can get at the baffle screw? or will they slide off or at least down far enough to be able to do the install on a vtx 1300r?|||some of them have a screw in the back side that hold the baffles in most of time you have to remove muffler to get to them sure should be able to
